Meta Expands In China

Meta Vision Systems Ltd (Oxford, UK) is pleased to be exhibiting at the Tube China Show in Shanghai from September 22nd to 25th, reflecting our growing installed base of systems in China.

According to Bob Beattie, Meta’s MD, “Meta has supplied systems to China for many years, but recently we have seen a rapid growth both in actual sales and in interest in laser seam tracking technology.  In recognition of the importance of the Chinese market, we now have Chinese nationals providing support inside China and at our production facility in the UK.”

As the world leader in laser seam tracking and measurement applications in the Tube and Pipe industry, Meta will be exhibiting part of its product line in Shanghai on its stand number 4B24.  This will include Meta’s low cost Laser Probe system which has “seen” good success in Tube Mill applications and Meta’s unique new triple stripe laser sensor.  Although only released earlier this year, several triple stripe sensors have already been installed and are running successfully on spiral pipe mills.
